How It All Began
The “Allgäu Bergwald Chalets”
The idea of the “Allgäu Bergwald Chalets” rose from the vision to create a place where nature, luxury, and relaxation merge into a harmonious whole.
It took imagination to recognize the potential in the former lost place “Homberger Hütte”. Entrepreneurs Rolf Mezger, Alexander von Hofen, and Martin Wulf saw it – and with the “Allgäu Bergwald Chalets”, they fulfilled a dream.
During the renovation, the old house was barely recognizable, with only planks and the foundation remaining. After an extensive refurbishment, a luxurious holiday residence was created that emphasizes sustainability and is in the heart of an untouched mountain forest.
Far from the hustle of everyday life, in an inspiring environment, perfect for a private retreat or successful seminars and conferences. For special occasions such as corporate events or conferences, the hotel can also be booked exclusively.
